New Leaf
Modern Design and full sound
In the spring of 2024, I designed a new guitar model. The design was intended to be modern and unique, with a full, transparent sound, without compromise. This led to the creation of my “New Leaf,” a guitar suited for all musical situations. Its construction allows for both delicate fingerpicking and expressive strumming. As a lightweight guitar with a 12th-fret neck joint, the “New Leaf” is particularly light and comfortable to play. Additionally, with its understated elegance, it’s a real eye-catcher.
The easy playability and ergonomics of the ‘New Leaf’ are further enhanced by its unique body construction. The bass-side rim of the guitar is shorter than the treble-side rim, creating a wedge-shaped body. This design allows the player to have a clear view of the strings and provides a very comfortable playing experience, without compromising on sound quality. This special body shape, developed by Linda Manzer, is known as ‘The Manzer Wedge™,’ and I am thrilled to have Linda’s personal permission to incorporate it into my guitars.
